How it works
Type letters like RETAINS and choose Find Words. The tool checks an included English spelling word list and groups matching words by length. The word search runs inside your browser; your letters are not sent to a server. When you tap a result to see its meaning, only that selected word is sent to a third-party dictionary service.
Version 7: Includes 112,195 English spellings from a SCOWL-derived American English spell-checking dictionary, including generated inflections. This is a general spelling list, not an official Scrabble or Words With Friends dictionary. The source is a spelling list: some entries are rare, technical, or otherwise unsuitable for particular word games. A missing online definition does not prove a spelling is invalid. We are reviewing word quality and have not yet created a curated common-words filter. Word-list source and licence.
